1. The Service & AI Disclosure

This app provides AI-generated digital stories and illustrations for children. All products are delivered digitally. WonderWriter-AI provides a platform to create personalised stories using Artificial Intelligence (AI). You acknowledge that AI is an evolving technology; while we strive for high-quality results, the output is generated by algorithms and may occasionally contain artistic "glitches" or variations from the original photo provided.

2. Ownership & Usage Rights

Your Rights: We grant you a perpetual, personal, and non-commercial license to download, print, and share your generated storybook for family use.

Our Rights: We do not claim ownership of the child's name or likeness. However, because copyright law for AI-generated works is still evolving globally, we do not "guarantee" that you own a copyright in the generated artwork (as many jurisdictions currently do not grant copyright to AI).

Commercial Use: You may not sell, license, or commercially exploit the stories or images without our express written consent.

3. Parental Warranty & Photos

By using this service and uploading any photograph, you represent and warrant that: You are the legal guardian of the child featured, or have the express permission of the legal guardian. You are over the age of 18. You indemnify WonderWriter-AI against any third-party claims regarding the "Right of Publicity" or likeness rights of the child.

4. The Seller of Record

To provide you with a secure global shopping experience, we partner with Stripe as our Merchant of Record. When you make a purchase, Stripe Payments UK Ltd (or its local affiliate) is the legal seller. They are responsible for calculating and remitting all relevant Sales Tax and VAT to your local government. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms. Stripe is responsible for the secure processing of your data and the remittance of local taxes (VAT/Sales Tax) based on your location.

5. Refund Policy

Consent to Begin: By clicking "Generate Story," you explicitly request that we begin the service immediately and acknowledge that you waive your statutory 14-day right to cancel or a refund under the UK/EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Technical Errors: If the system fails to generate your book due to a technical bug, we will provide a credit or a corrected version within 14 days of your report. If there is a technical error, please contact us within 14 days for a correction or credit.

6. Limitation of Liability

WonderWriter-AI is provided on an "As-Is" basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or "moral" damages resulting from the use of the AI, including results that do not perfectly match the user's expectations or descriptions.
